ARTIST STATEMENT

My work utilizes an array of materials, but nearly all are discarded, cheap and easily accessible. My subject matter focuses on the home, sense of place and forgotten histories. I use tactile printing methods (linocut, silkscreen, packing tape transfer) to create a nostalgic scenes,  humorous reflections, and sentimental spaces from places I have lived. We are all, at one point or another, new to a place, a city, a home. I try to find my space within it.
